8 Best Email Marketing Platforms for Coaches (2026)
Eight email platforms checked on what a coach needs: selling packages, booking calls, follow-up automations, and the price at 1,000 and 5,000 contacts.
Some links here are referral links, and where a provider gives our readers a better price than its own site, that is the price you get by using one. It costs you nothing extra, and every option here is judged on the same test either way.
It's easy to pay for four tools before you've signed your tenth client: email, a booking calendar, a checkout for packages and a course platform. Each bills monthly whether or not anyone bought, so the best email platform for a coach is often the one that replaces two or three of the others.
This guide is for life, business, health and fitness coaches, and consultants, with a list somewhere between nothing and 5,000 people. You sell packages, programmes or a course, and most new clients start with a discovery call. I checked eight platforms against the four things that kind of practice needs from its email.
You get what each platform does for a coach, what it costs a month at 1,000 and at 5,000 contacts, and a finder at the end that matches one to your practice.
What a coach needs from an email platform
Most clients find a coach through a free guide, a few emails, a discovery call and then a package. That gives four things to ask of an email platform, in the order they cost a practice clients or money.
Sells your packages without a second checkout
Checkout pages for sessions, packages and programmes, ideally with payment plans, and a small fee on each sale.
Every tool between the email and the payment is another monthly bill, and another place a client can drop offBooks discovery calls
A booking page of its own, or a clean link to Calendly that tells the platform who booked.
Most new clients start with a call, and the emails around it should know whether one is bookedFollows a lead to the call, and a client into the programme
Automations that deliver a lead magnet, invite the reader to book, and welcome a new client with onboarding emails.
It's the follow-up you'd otherwise do by hand late at night, and it's where a small list turns into clientsCosts little at 1,000 and 5,000 contacts
The monthly price of the plan that does all of the above. A full tick at $50 a month or less at 5,000.
A coaching list grows slowly, and the bill comes due in the months nobody buys a packageThe third need is the easiest to underestimate, so I've laid it out as the sequence most coaches build.
A free guide in exchange for an email
A form or landing page offers your lead magnet, and the platform sends it the moment someone signs up.
A few emails that lead to a call
Over the next week or two, the sequence teaches something useful and ends with a link to book a discovery call.
The invitations stop once they book
The booking tags the person, so nobody gets asked to book a call they've already booked.
A new client gets onboarding, not another pitch
When someone buys a package, the purchase takes them out of the pitch emails and starts the welcome, with your intake form and the link to the first session.
Every platform here can run the first two steps. The last two are where they differ, because the platform has to know about the booking and the payment.
How the eight measure up
Only Systeme.io and MailerLite clear all four needs in full, and Systeme.io does it for $32 a month less at 5,000 contacts. The other six each fall short on at least two, most often the booking or the price.
| Platform | Sells packages | Books calls | Lead-to-client automations | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Systeme.io, Startup | Packages and payment plans, at 0% per sale | Its own calendar, five event types | Five workflows and ten automation rules | $17 for up to 5,000 contacts |
| MailerLite, Comfort | Products and paid sessions, 0% MailerLite fee | Built-in bookings, paid or free | 50 automations, started by a purchase | $19 at 1,000, $49 at 5,000 |
| Kit, Creator | Sessions, courses and payment plans, 0.6% per sale | Calendly app, which starts automations | Unlimited visual automations | $39 at 1,000, $89 at 5,000 |
| GetResponse, Creator | Courses and paid newsletters | None listed among its plan features | Unlimited workflows | $69 at 1,000, $109 at 5,000 |
| Brevo, Standard | Paid meetings, through Stripe | Meetings, with no-show and cancellation rules | Automations for your whole list | $35 at 1,000, $79 at 5,000, weekly email |
| AWeber, Lite | Checkout pages and payment plans | Adds people who book on Calendly | Three automations on Lite | $25 at 1,000, $60 at 5,000 |
| ActiveCampaign, Plus | Stripe and PayPal connect, no checkout of its own | Calendly integration, from Plus | Unlimited actions in each automation | $49 at 1,000, $145 at 5,000, yearly |
| HubSpot, Marketing Hub Starter | Payments sit in a separate Hub | A free meeting scheduler | Up to 10 automated actions | $20 at 1,000, at least $220 at 5,000 |
← scroll the table sideways on a narrow screen →
Booking is the column that splits the field. Systeme.io, MailerLite, Brevo and HubSpot have the calendar inside the platform. Kit, AWeber and ActiveCampaign work with Calendly, which is one more account to keep, and GetResponse doesn't list a scheduler among its plan features.
Not every coach has the same practice, so before the platform-by-platform detail, find the line closest to yours.
Where each kind of coach should start
What each one costs a month at 1,000 and 5,000 contacts
At 1,000 contacts the eight run from $17 a month on Systeme.io to $69 on GetResponse's Creator plan, and at 5,000 from $17 to at least $220 on HubSpot. The last column is each platform's own fee when a client pays.
The plan a coach needs on each platform, a month at 1,000 and at 5,000 contacts, and the platform's own fee when a client pays.

US dollars, billed monthly, except ActiveCampaign, whose pricing page shows yearly billing only. Brevo charges for the emails you send, so it's priced at one email a week. HubSpot's price at 5,000 is by our sums, from $50 a month for each extra 1,000 contacts.← scroll sideways on a narrow screen →
Systeme.io is the lowest in this table at both list sizes, and MailerLite is $2 a month more at 1,000. Card fees from Stripe or PayPal come on top everywhere.
The fee per sale adds up slowly. Sell two $1,200 packages in a month and Kit's 0.6% is $14.40, so Kit at 1,000 contacts costs $53.40 that month against $17 on Systeme.io and $19 on MailerLite, by our sums. Stripe's own fee is the same whichever platform takes the payment.
Systeme.io, the one I'd start most coaches on
Systeme.io is where I'd start most coaches, because its $17 Startup plan does all four jobs for up to 5,000 contacts. It has a booking calendar, checkout pages for your packages, five automated workflows and unlimited emails, and it takes 0% of each sale on every plan.
Clients book one-to-one or group sessions on a calendar that works with Google Calendar, Zoom and Google Meet, and Startup gives you five event types, say a free discovery call and four paid sessions. A programme sold as a digital product can go on a payment plan, where you set the number of payments. The same login hosts courses and a community.
Systeme.io
Who it's for

My recommendations on Systeme.io's plans
Starting out? Start on Startup once you sell a package. Its five workflows cover the lead-magnet emails and onboarding after a purchase, and five booking event types fit a discovery call and a few paid sessions.
Growing or switching? Move to Webinar, $47 a month, when your list passes 5,000 or you want an automated masterclass running. It holds 10,000 contacts and ten evergreen webinars.
Next to MailerLite? MailerLite's Comfort plan is $2 a month more at 1,000 subscribers and $32 more at 5,000. It's the better fit if you already have a website and want 50 automations rather than Startup's five workflows.
Every plan includes unlimited emails and newsletters, sales funnels, a blog and course hosting, with payments through Stripe or PayPal at 0% transaction fees.

Start on Systeme.io's Startup plan
you'll go to systeme.io
New, with no list yet? Start on the free plan and move up the day you want a second automation, usually the onboarding after a client pays.
Two things to sort before you move a list across. Systeme.io won't send from a Gmail or Yahoo address, so you authenticate your own domain, and that domain needs an active website linked to it. Free migration comes with Unlimited or any yearly plan, so on Startup monthly you move the list yourself.
Having the whole practice in one login at $17 costs you a plainer email side, five workflows against MailerLite's 50 automations.
MailerLite, if you already have a website you like
MailerLite suits a coach who already has a website, because it adds bookings, selling and email automation without replacing the site. Comfort is $19 a month at 1,000 subscribers and $49 at 5,000, with no MailerLite commission on what you sell.
Bookings sells paid or free sessions straight from MailerLite. One-to-one sessions follow your availability and notice period, group sessions take a set number of places, and the meeting link can be Google Meet, a phone number or a Zoom link you paste in. A product purchase can start an automation, so a client who buys a package lands in your onboarding emails.

My recommendations on MailerLite's plans
Starting out? Start on Comfort. It runs the lead-magnet sequence and the onboarding, takes MailerLite's logo off your emails, and sells up to five products or bookings.
Growing or switching? Move to Power, $39 at 1,000 and $69 at 5,000, when a discovery call, your packages and a course add up to more than five products or bookings, or you email more than ten times your list a month.
Next to Systeme.io? Systeme.io's Startup plan is $2 a month less at 1,000 and $32 less at 5,000, and builds the pages, course and community for you. It suits a coach who'd rather not run a separate website.
Every plan includes email campaigns, automations, signup forms, a landing page and 100+ integrations.

At 5,000 subscribers Comfort is $49 and Power $69 a month. The free plan stops at 250 subscribers. MailerLite takes 0% commission on sales; Stripe's fee applies. Yearly billing is 10% less. · Checked 29 Oct 2026
Start on MailerLite's Comfort plan
Try every feature free for 14 days, no card needed.

The limit to plan around is that Comfort counts products and bookings together, five in all. A discovery call, three packages and a course fill it, and the next one means Power. Payment goes through Stripe only, and MailerLite's sell page says Stripe isn't available in every country, so check yours is covered before you build around it.
MailerLite is the pick when the website already works. If Brevo is also on your shortlist, Brevo vs MailerLite works out which costs less by how often you send.
Kit, if your list is the business
Kit is for the coach whose list is the business, selling a course, a group programme or a membership to people who've read their emails for months. Every Kit plan, Free included, sells coaching sessions, courses and downloads, and Creator adds unlimited automations for $39 a month at 1,000 subscribers and $89 at 5,000.
Kit's help centre uses a coaching package as its example of a payment plan, four sessions billed in four instalments. Buyers are tagged as they pay, which can take them out of the pitch emails and into your onboarding. Kit keeps 0.6% of each sale, plus card processing, and calls are booked through its Calendly app, which can start an automation when a meeting is booked.

Kit's offer, ends 7 November 202625% off the first year of an annual Pro plan, $593 at 1,000 subscribersShown on kit.com on 29 Oct 2026.
My recommendations on Kit's plans
Starting out? Start on Creator. It's the plan with sequences and visual automations, which a lead magnet and a client welcome both need.
Growing or switching? Pro is $79 a month at 1,000 on a monthly bill. Paid yearly by 7 November, its first year is $593 after Kit's 25% off, about $50 a month, then it renews at the standard rate. It adds a referral programme for your list and room for a team.
Next to Systeme.io? Systeme.io's Startup plan is $22 a month less at 1,000 and $72 less at 5,000, takes 0% per sale and books calls itself. Its five workflows are fewer than Creator's unlimited automations, though.
Every plan includes unlimited landing pages, forms and broadcasts, with tagging and segmentation.

Start on Kit's Creator plan
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, no card needed, and moving your list over is free.
you'll go to partners.kit.com
Kit's coaches page suggests teaming up with other coaches through its recommendations, where each of you suggests the other's newsletter to new subscribers, and free recommendations are on every plan. A community can sit in Mighty Networks, which is in Kit's app store.
Choose Kit if your emails are what sell the programme and you'd like the automations without limits. If a paid newsletter is part of the plan, Kit vs Beehiiv compares the two built for it.
GetResponse, if you fill programmes with live webinars
GetResponse is the one for a coach who fills each programme with a live webinar. Creator hosts the webinar, the course and the email in one account, for $69 a month at 1,000 contacts and $109 at 5,000.
Its webinar page lists unlimited webinars, up to 1,000 live attendees, two other presenters and 20 hours of recordings, but not which plan carries which limit, so check Creator's attendee cap before a big launch.
GetResponse
GetResponse's Creator plan hosts live and on-demand webinars, courses and your email in one account, $69 a month at 1,000 contacts.
My quick review of GetResponse, for a coach who runs webinars
For a coach who launches with webinars, GetResponse puts the webinar room, the course and the follow-up emails in one account. Creator is $69 a month at 1,000 contacts and $109 at 5,000, and every workflow from the sign-up to the replay email can run on its own.
Where it stands out
- Live and on-demand webinars, with paid webinar funnels
- Courses for up to 500 students on Creator
- Unlimited automation workflows
Buy it if
- Your programmes fill from a live webinar
- You want the webinar and the email under one bill
Skip it if
- Most clients come through one-to-one discovery calls
- You'd rather your webinar ran on autopilot
Rather run it on autopilot? Systeme.io
Systeme.io's Webinar plan runs ten evergreen webinars with the booking calendar and checkout, for $47 a month up to 10,000 contacts.
It isn't higher here because booking isn't among its plan features. Launches that run on live webinars belong on GetResponse, and a practice where most clients start with a one-to-one call belongs on Systeme.io.
ActiveCampaign or HubSpot, for a consultant with a sales pipeline
A consultant who wins high-ticket work on calls needs to see where every prospect stands, and ActiveCampaign and HubSpot are built for that. At 5,000 contacts they're also the two most expensive platforms here. Systeme.io has simple pipelines too, five on Startup, but ActiveCampaign is built around automation and HubSpot around the CRM.
Plus is the ActiveCampaign plan to price, because it adds the Calendly, Stripe and PayPal connections and lifts the cap of five actions per automation that Starter has. Deal pipelines and lead scoring come in a separate Pipelines add-on, and the pricing page doesn't give its price.
ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign's Plus plan runs automations with unlimited actions and connects Calendly, Stripe and PayPal, $49 a month at 1,000 contacts, billed yearly.
My quick review of ActiveCampaign, for a consultant
ActiveCampaign is built for follow-up that branches, a different email for the prospect who booked, the one who didn't and the one who went quiet after the call. Plus is $49 a month at 1,000 contacts and $145 at 5,000, paid for the year, with the deal pipeline as a separate add-on.
Where it stands out
- Unlimited actions in each automation, from Plus
- Calendly, Stripe and PayPal connected on Plus
- Deal pipelines and lead scoring as an add-on
Buy it if
- Your follow-up after a call has several paths
- You'll pay for the year upfront
Skip it if
- You want to pay month by month
- You'd rather book and take payment inside the platform
Want the CRM first? HubSpot
HubSpot gives you its CRM and a meeting scheduler at no cost, with email from $20 a seat on Starter.
HubSpot starts from the CRM and a free meeting scheduler, and Marketing Hub Starter adds email at $20 a month per seat with 1,000 marketing contacts and up to 10 automated actions. Extra contacts are from $50 a month per 1,000, and you can't drop to a lower contact tier until the contract renews.
HubSpot
A free CRM and meeting scheduler, with Marketing Hub Starter's email at $20 a month a seat for 1,000 contacts.
My quick review of HubSpot, for a consultant who wants a CRM
HubSpot suits a consultant who wants every prospect's calls, emails and stage on one record, with a free meeting scheduler to book them. The email is the smaller part here. Starter allows up to 10 automated actions, and at 5,000 contacts it costs at least $220 a month, by our sums.
Where it stands out
- A free CRM and meeting scheduler
- Starter at $7 a month a seat on an annual plan, for new customers
- Free landing pages and forms
Buy it if
- You track a handful of high-value prospects through stages
- Your list will stay near 1,000 contacts
Skip it if
- Your list is heading for 5,000
- You want to sell packages from a checkout of your own
Want deeper automation? ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign's Plus plan takes unlimited actions in each automation and connects Calendly and Stripe, $49 a month at 1,000 contacts, billed yearly.
Payments sit in a separate Hub, so selling a package needs another tool. Choose HubSpot if the CRM is the point and your list will stay small, and ActiveCampaign if the follow-up after each call is where you win the work.
Brevo, if most clients book one paid session at a time
Brevo makes sense for a coach who mostly sells single sessions. Its Meetings tool gives you booking pages that take payment through Stripe, with no-show, cancellation and late policies you set, and you can try Meetings for free.
Brevo charges for the emails you send rather than the contacts you keep. One email a week to 1,000 contacts is about 4,300 emails a month, its 10,000-email step at $35 on Standard, and 5,000 contacts is the 30,000-email step at $79, by our sums. I've priced Standard because Starter has no landing page and keeps Brevo's logo on your emails.
Brevo
Brevo's Meetings take payment through Stripe with your own cancellation and no-show policy, and Standard is $35 a month for a weekly email to 1,000 contacts, by our sums.
My quick review of Brevo, for a coach who sells single sessions
Brevo suits a coach whose diary is the business. Clients book and pay for a session in one step, and your cancellation policy comes with the booking. It's priced by the emails you send, $35 a month on Standard for a weekly email to 1,000 contacts and $79 at 5,000, by our sums.
Where it stands out
- Paid meetings with no-show and cancellation policies
- Its own video calls, or Zoom and Google Meet
- A free CRM in the same account
Buy it if
- Most clients book and pay one session at a time
- You email your list once a week or less
Skip it if
- You sell packages, programmes or a course
- A meeting has more than one host and you charge for it
Selling packages too? MailerLite
MailerLite's Comfort plan sells paid sessions and digital products together with no MailerLite commission, $19 a month at 1,000 subscribers.
What Brevo sells for you is the meeting itself. Its help centre says Stripe is currently the only way to take payment for one, and only single-host meeting types can be charged. For a practice built on paid one-to-one calls, that's enough.
AWeber, if you'd rather someone set it up for you
AWeber is for a coach who'd rather pay to have it set up. Its Done For You plan is from $20 a month billed annually, plus a $79 setup fee instead of $599 with no end date given, and its coaching page has templates for a new lead, a welcome, a tutorial and a course sign-up.
Lite is $25 a month at 1,000 subscribers and $60 at 5,000, with three automations and checkout pages that take one-off, recurring or payment-plan prices. AWeber's own pages disagree on the fee per sale. The pricing table lists 1.0% on Lite and 0.6% on Plus, and the ecommerce page says 0.6% without naming a plan, so work out a package at 1.0% on Lite to stay on the safe side.
AWeber
AWeber's Done For You plan sets up your email for a $79 fee instead of $599, and its Lite plan sells packages on payment plans, $25 a month at 1,000 subscribers.
My quick review of AWeber, for a coach who wants it set up
AWeber is the one to pick if you'd rather not build it yourself. Its team sets the account up for a $79 fee, on a Done For You plan from $20 a month billed annually, and its templates follow a coach's path from new lead to welcomed client. Lite's three automations are tight for a coach who sells several programmes, and Plus, $45 at 1,000, removes the limit.
Where it stands out
- Done For You setup fee of $79 instead of $599
- Automation templates for new leads and new clients
- Payment plans on its checkout pages
Buy it if
- You'd like your email set up for you
- One lead magnet and one programme cover what you sell
Skip it if
- You want a booking calendar inside the platform
- You'll need more than three automations from the start
Want booking built in? MailerLite
MailerLite's Comfort plan books paid or free sessions itself and runs 50 automations, $19 a month at 1,000 subscribers.
The setup offer is what makes AWeber worth a look, and its ecommerce page puts a 30-day money-back guarantee beside it. If you'd rather set it up yourself, MailerLite books calls itself and costs less at both list sizes, $19 against $25 at 1,000.
So which email platform should a coach use?
Most coaches should use Systeme.io. All eight send a newsletter and welcome a new subscriber, so what separates them is whether the booking and the payment live where the email does. When they do, you stop paying for three tools to do one job.
My pick for most coaches is Systeme.io, $17 a month for up to 5,000 contacts with the calendar, checkout and workflows built in. Take MailerLite if your website's already doing its job, Kit if your emails are what sell a course or programme, and GetResponse if you launch with live webinars.
A consultant with a pipeline should look at HubSpot for the CRM or ActiveCampaign for the follow-up. Take Brevo if your diary of paid single sessions is the business, and AWeber if you'd like someone else to set it up.
Still torn between two? The three questions below ask what you sell, whether you already have a website and how big your list is, because those three move the answer most.
Three questions
Which email platform fits your coaching practice?
Answer for your practice as it is today, and the recommendation updates as you go.
1What do you sell most?
2Do you already have a website you like?
3How many people are on your list?
Before you answer
Systeme.io, for most coaches
Systeme.io's Startup plan books your calls, sells your packages at 0% per sale and runs the follow-up emails, for $17 a month up to 5,000 contacts.
The trade-off: MailerLite runs more automations, 50 on Comfort to Startup's five workflows. If your own website already works for you, your answers may point there.

Questions coaches ask about email marketing platforms
Which email platforms can book discovery calls?
Four have booking built in.Systeme.io has a booking calendar on every plan, MailerLite has Bookings for paid or free sessions, Brevo has Meetings with paid bookings through Stripe, and HubSpot has a free meeting scheduler. Kit, ActiveCampaign and AWeber connect to Calendly instead, and Kit's Calendly app can start an automation when someone books. GetResponse's plan list shows no scheduler.
Can I sell a coaching package on a payment plan?
Yes, on several. Kit's help centre uses a four-session coaching package billed in four instalments as its own example, with monthly, quarterly or yearly payments.Systeme.io lets you set the number of payments on a digital product, and AWeber's checkout pages offer payment plans for higher-priced offers.
