What we collect, which is close to nothing.
No cookies are set by this site. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising.
Search never leaves your browser. The search index is a file your browser downloads and filters locally, so no query is ever sent to us. There is no search log, which means there is none to be handed over, sold, or breached.
The rotating sections hold no state about you. What appears in them is decided by the clock, and every reader sees the same page at the same moment. Personalising it would require watching you to produce an effect we get from a timer.
We do not remember you between visits. Theme choice included — it follows your operating system's setting, which is a signal your browser hands us rather than one we collected.
Links out. Following a link to a provider takes you to their site, under their privacy policy, which will not resemble this one.
Email. If you subscribe, we hold your address to send the newsletter and nothing else. Unsubscribing deletes it.
