About mashjoy.com

mashjoy.com exists because the honest answer to "which card machine should I get?" is almost impossible to find in South Africa. The pages that rank are written by the providers, by their affiliates, or by someone who has never run a transaction through one.

So we buy the tools, run them on a real counter, and publish what each one costs over a year — not the price on the box.

We are reader-supported. Some links on this site earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. That is disclosed on every page it applies to, and it does not move a ranking: where two or more brands on a page pay us, we do not name a single winner at all. We recommend per use case instead.

Every figure carries the date we checked it. Pricing in this market changes without announcement, so a number without a date is a number you cannot use.
